Somehow I missed this post from you last August! It made me realize it's also been 30 years since I started watching the show. I started with season 2. Google tells me "Killer Instinct" aired September 12, 1994 so that must have been it.
It's funny how you did know there had been a third season until you picked up the CD. For my part, I didn't know there had been a first season (at the time, I didn't know season 2 was not the first season) until I got the internet and discovered the fandom in summer 1996. That's when I learned about fan fiction as well.
I only spent a few years in the fandom in the 90s, but had a lot of fun with it. And now once again decades later!
I *do* remember that it took like 20 mins to download photos off the internet lol.
It's fun to learn how other fans discovered the show and fandom :-)
