2021 in review
In 2021 I finished 4 stories (one more than 2020 - so progress!):
Casefic, gen: In Pawns Nick and Tracy are trapped in a collapsing subway tunnel, while investigating the murder of a TTC worker.
Casefic, UF: In Passions of the Heart Nick tries to find a common link between the victims of a serial killer, and discovers that the killings aren't random at all. This is now Part 1 of a new UF series called Rekindled Passions.
Lacroix/Myra: A Semblance of Family is the longest story I have ever written. Set post Last Knight, an apparently mutual experience of loss brings Myra and Lacroix closer together. But then nothing is ever as it appears when Lacroix is involved.
UF: In A Christmas Surprise Nick has to deal with two visitors on Christmas instead of the one he had planned. This is a Follow-up to Passions of the Heart.
Plans for future writing:
A sequel to A Semblance of Family. Current status: 14000 words
Part 4 of the Relationships series. Current status: 7000 words
A casefic involving Janette. Current status: 1000 words
A casefic involving Lacroix. Current status: 200 words
Possibly more installments to the Rekindled Passions series.
Edit: I forgot to mention the Nick/Janette story that has a flashback to my hometown in the 15th century. Current status: 1000 words
