I've been watching V-Wars because Nigel Bennett is in episode 1. The 10 episodes are available on Netflix. I'm rather ambiguous about the series. While it was overall suspenseful, there were quite a lot of subplots which didn't make sense. And I missed some explanations as to why some things were the way they were. I didn't like the concept of vampires being depicted as mindless killers (that assuaged a little later in the series), but I found the scientific approach interesting (sadly that was less prominent later in the series).
Ian Somerhalder played the lead. He's always nice to watch, but I preferred him as a vampire in "Vampire Diaries". Whom I really liked was Peter Outerbridge. He plays the villain and appears in almost all episodes. Other FK alumni included Phil Bedard and Larry Lalonde as executive producers of the series.
The series is based on a book which I haven't read. The way it ended suggests that there is a second season planned.
